Where the Myla buildings are

Roma Norte

Roma Norte is where most Myla guests spend most of their time. The streets are wide and walkable, the buildings are early 20th-century European, and the food scene is one of the best in the city. Mercado Medellín is a ten-minute walk for produce and prepared food. Parque México has a farmers market on Saturdays. For coffee, try Buna on Álvaro Obregón or Quentin on Orizaba. For dinner, Contramar is the classic choice (book ahead), and Lalo! on Zacatecas is good for a casual lunch.

10 min walk from Roma Norte

Condesa

Condesa sits just west of Roma Norte and shares much of the same character. The two oval parks, Parque España and Parque México, are the neighborhood's anchors. Ámsterdam, the oval boulevard that rings Parque México, is one of the best streets in the city for a morning run or an evening walk. The restaurant strip on Tamaulipas has a dozen good options within a block. Rosetta on Colima is worth a reservation.

Chapultepec

Chapultepec Park covers over 680 hectares. The first section has the Anthropology Museum (allow three hours minimum), the Modern Art Museum, and the castle. The second section has the zoo, which is free. Paseo de la Reforma runs along the park's edge. The Myla building here is a short walk from the park entrance and a quick Uber from Roma Norte.

15 min drive

Polanco

Polanco is a 15-minute drive from Roma Norte. Presidente Masaryk is the main shopping street, but the side streets are better for food: Pujol on Tennyson, Quintonil on Newton, and Dulce Patria on Anatole France. Book all three well in advance. The Soumaya Museum on Plaza Carso is free and worth an hour.
